This floor was originally supposed to be acid stained but due to a bad crack in the foundation and ghosting from past flooring we went with a micro-finish overlay with two water-based stains to give this floor a great look! Micro finish flooring systems are applied with a trowel which gives the beautiful variations of color that flow throughout the room. A 12″ border was cut around the perimeter of the room along with a custom tile design in front of the double doors leading outside. The floor was then sealed with a solvent based polyurethane sealer that is very durable and gives a great shine to the floor!
